The First Information Security Laboratory in Ural Federal District Opened at the Ural Federal University
On Tuesday, October, 26th CyberLympha and its strategic partner, USSC ltd, opened the Cyber Security Laboratory at IRIT-RTF-UrFU. This place is expected to become a multidisciplinary center that would connect students, lecturers, security product vendors and enterprises representatives interested in hiring qualified specialists. The Laboratory's fundamental goal is to carry out research, experiments and practical studies that would benefit projects, based on the real market demands generated by the enterprises.
Students will attend theoretical and laboratory classes on cyber security and telecommunication system information security as well as various theme courses in the Laboratory. The Lab contains areas designed and equipped for every activity: standard desks for students, a dedicated videoconferencing and multimedia system for remote lectures, and various equipment for practice.
The opening featured a press conference dedicated to discussing “Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity within digitalization and industry conditions” topic, the speakers were: Eugeniy Gurariy, Assistant to the Russian Federation Presidents Plenipotentiary in Ural Federal District, Ilya Obabkov, director of the IRIT-RTF UrFU and Andrey Antipinskiy, CyberLympha founder.

We are eager to create not just a CyberLympha and USSC laboratory, but a true University lab that would attract more business partners to discuss and solve various challenges” emphasized Andrey Antipinskiy.|

We would like to see this laboratory become a place where inter-institute, cross-disciplinary projects will take off” summarized Ilya Obabkov.|
